My New Hobby - Photography

 I didn't know that I love to take pictures until my images got rejected after I tried to upload them to an image sharing website. I know I'm just an amateur photographer. Well, I'm embarrassed even to call myself a photographer. I'm just someone who likes to snap beautiful scenery.

I don't do selfies. I'm just not photogenic. I know now that there are cellphone cameras that will make you look pretty with their beauty shot mode but I still think I don't look good in pictures so I just snap pictures of scenery, flowers, buildings etc. I would like to share these pictures here since my pictures aren't up to the standard of some image sharing website.

When Your Child Says "I Didn't Ask to Be Born"

The most difficult statement that a child may say to his/her parents that a parent cannot satisfactorily justify is when the child says,"I didn't ask to be born." How do you counter this statement? What supporting evidence can you present to your child to argue against this claim?  Why is this statement uttered? Most times when this statement of the fact that he/she didn't ask to be born is uttered is when something unfortunate or bad happens or when the child doesn't want to do something that the parents instruct him/her to do. In my humble opinion, I believe that this statement is the ultimate form of ungratefulness that can be uttered. Is Zahid Hamidi Really Free?

This must be the happiest day for Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi because he has been discharged of the 47 charges with regards to Yayasan Akalbudi. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, image via Free Malaysia Today Although Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and the citizens of the country think that he is free, this is not the case. He still hasn't been acquitted which means that there is still no verdict to his case. He may be found guilty or not guilty when the case is brought back to court. He can still be charged for the same crime. This latest development in Zahid Hamidi's case doesn't indicate that he's innocent or guilty of the charges yet. Undocumented Children in Malaysia are Detained in Baitul Mahabbah

In a news report by Free Malaysia Today (FMT), the activist group, the End Detention Network which claims to speak for foreign children in detention facilities considers the new Baitul Mahabbah shelter a de facto detention center. The group urged the government to keep its promise to permanently remove children from detention facilities, claiming that by keeping these children in such facilities would continue to deprive them of their rights. According to the organization, many nations are now concentrating their efforts on providing community-based, non-institutional care and safety to refugee and migrant children as well as completely halting the detention of foreign children.
